Celebrate Clean Air month with Clean Air Adventures
As we recognize Clean Air month, the American Lung Association® of Washington offers you an opportunity to take action in getting on your bicycle and getting out of your car to prepare for one of our Clean Air Adventures.
Save on gas this summer and start cycling. Then utilize those commuter miles to register for one of our Clean Air Adventures and raise funds for our advocacy, education and research to improve the air we breathe.

Cycling around the San Juan Islands or climbing Mount Rainier this summer are just two ways to promote clean air.
As part of the American Lung Association® of Washington's Clean Air Adventures event calendar this year, we promote our longest standing special event with a whole new route and a marking a milestone in our climb up Mount Rainier.
This year marks the 26th year of Trek Tri-Island. We welcome new and alumni riders to join us in September to enjoy the festivities and experience a new route on three of the San Juan Islands. We are returning to ride solely in the Islands – the spectacular scenery at the end of summer is a draw for all of us.
In addition, we mark the 20th anniversary of Climb for Clean Air and acknowledge the partnership with Lou Whittaker and Rainier Mountaineering Inc (RMI). It’s not too late to join us this year in July or start thinking about 2009. Four days attempting to summit the landmark of Washington state and doing it to promote Clean Air and your lung health.
