Accomodations/Events:

The 2009 WTS Chest Conference/Winter Lung Day and Annual Meeting will be held at the Enzian Inn, a Bavarian-style hotel located in Leavenworth, Washington. The Inn features an indoor swimming pool and hot tub, racquetball courts, exercise room, and complimentary cross-country ski equipment.

Conference participants and their guests are invited to two special social events at the Enzian: the welcome reception Friday evening and a reception on Saturday evening. A complementary European buffet breakfast will be available both mornings to participants and guests of the Enzian only.

Leisure activities in the area include:

Alpine Skiing at Mission Ridge and Stevens Pass, cross country skiing in and around Leavenworth, hiking, snow shoeing, sleigh rides and shopping in the Bavarian Village. Leavenworth is located 118 miles east of Seattle and 188 miles west of Spokane at US 2 and US 97 at the base of the Cascade Mountains in central Washington.
