Healthy House Training for Professionals

In 1993, the American Lung Association® of Minnesota introduced the Health House program, whose mission was to raise the standard for healthy indoor environments. With an estimated 36 million Americans suffering from allergies and/or asthma, indoor air quality concerns are becoming more prevalent. The Health House program educates consumers, manufacturers, builders and architects on how to improve the quality of the home environment.

The American Lung Association® of Washington's Healthy House training addresses many indoor air quality issues. Beginning October 2, 2003 and continuing for seven weeks, attendees will be trained by local experts on topics such as dust and moisture issues, ventilation and filtration, building materials and environmental health.
