Freedom From Smoking

American Lung Association® Smoking Cessation Program

The Freedom From Smoking® (FFS) program was developed in 1975 by the American Lung Association®. It has gone through several updates in order to incorporate the newest information on nicotine replacement therapies and address the latest health issues.

The program includes an 7-session adult smoking cessation program that focuses on positive behavior change.

Each session is about 2 hours in length and is designed for 12-16 participants.

The Freedom From Smoking® program continues to be identified as the gold standard in adult smoking cessation programs.
